Insomnia for babies??

Is it possible?

My dd is 9 weeks old and has not slept a wink for a whole week! And I'm not exaggerating, my poor girl won't sleep, she fights it. She's not colicy at all, just way over tired.

Also while she's awake she looks to the left then the right back and forth a lot. It's weird!

I've tried everything to sooth my baby into sleep but she would only doze for a minute then jump awake.

Her doctors appointment is thursday, hopefully she can think of something to help my dd go to sleep.

Even my mother told me she has never seen such an overly tired baby before, it's freaking her out, and me too!

See what the doc says...I've never heard of that before! Are you sure she doesn't sleep at all while you sleep?

No sleep whatsoever. I can't sleep because I worry about her.
She's got major bags under her lil eyes now. :(

That is odd. Have you tried the vacuum cleaner? My son had issues sleeping and that helped. My MIL bought a cd with vacuum noise and it worked. Good luck, I hope its an easy fix.
