getting pregnant on birth control

I have the implanon implant. My periods are freaky so they're no help. I'm having serious symptoms: exhausted, extra hungry and thirsty. I've been getting dizzy. The worst part is I have this feeling I'm pregnant. It's not been wrong yet. Yes I took a hpt and it came back negative. My question I guess is has anyone gotten pregnant on implanon? Google hasn't helped much.

My friend did get pregnant taking birth control but I am not sure of the name but not that one.  What happens is after a while, the body develops a tolerance for it, so it is best to consult with your doctor about changing which one you use or dose, etc.  I remember--ORTHOTRICYCLEN (sp?)

I don't use Google (it sucks.. never brings up relevant info).  I searched for "implanon failure" with Eccellio Science's search and this is the second site that came up:

It's about how Implanon was not fitted correctly and failed hundreds of times in the UK.. this was posted in 2011.

This.

There was a HUGE problem with it over here (I'm a UK Mom) during late 2009 and then 2010-11 and it failing.

I'd suggest going and seeing a doctor 'cause if you are pregnant it NEEDS to be taken out.

I've had it for almost a year and have never had a problem. That's what scares me.
