Lying to kids

on my radio station this morning had people call in to say what lies their parents had told them when they were young or what they have told their own kids. There was some pretty funny responses Let's share ours. I'll start I had to tell my son there was a store monster that gets kids who don't stay with their mothers since he was always running off and nothing else worked... The monster worked wonders though lol

 I lied and told my three year old that if she doesn't eat her vegetables, that she'll turn into one. haha.

I try to be as honest as possible, the only lies I told them were santa, tooth fairy etc

Hahaha. I got lucky on that one. Ds would eat only broccoli if I let him.

Weirdly, my daughter loves broccoli too.  It's the carrots, green beans, cucumbers, etc, etc, etc that she'll turn into.  haha.
