for my elective class i took a home ech class. it consisted of cooking, taking care of kids and home decorating. So in the middle of the semester it was taking care of kids class. we had egg babies. i was happy we didn't have the crying babies.
i was really bad with the egg i dropped it 5 times and my mom told me she was going to tell my teacher. i always left it by its self and i put it in the fridge when i went to bed. my mom ended up telling the teacher all the stuff i didn't do with the egg and how i "killed" it by dropping it. i ended up with a C. I hated taking that damn thing to class
We took home economics, but it was mostly a cooking class.
It was done in our school and some of my schoolmates did it, but I never had the class that it was in.
We didn't have a home ec class, but we had a child development class. I took that and got to deal with an electronic baby. Anytime it cried you had to stick a key in the back and hold it in there. I did ok, but then my friend took that class later on and I was taking care of her baby for a minute and accidentally broke the key off in its back. It cried for her nonstop that whole weekend with no way to stop it.
No, I never took that kind of class simply because of that. I didn't want to carry a damn egg or crying baby around. An egg is not a baby, it's an egg. And I never planned on having children, so I KNEW I didn't want an egg! LOL I would have hard boiled the sucker, then replaced it last minute.
