Why doesn't anyone feel sorry for Bobby Brown?

People want to turn Whitney into some victim, but Bobby Brown is a monster? Is this some sort of gender bias?

Bobby Brown had his first hit album at like 9 years old. Whitney was about 22. I would venture to say that Bobby has been more of a victim than she was. She was older than he was by age and entered the industry at a much more mature age. She has less excuses for how her life turned out than he does if you want to victimize someone.

There are no excuses when it comes to the disease of addiction. He is responsible just as much as she is for his choices. I do feel for him right now because I believe he truly loved her and that his heart is broken right now and he is suffering horrible loss.

When you hit people you are generally not seen as a victim.
