First All Women Nuclear Alert!!!!! What do you think of this?

The 10th Strategic Missile Squadron directly contributed to President Kennedy's objective of having both "...peace and freedom, here in this Hemisphere" and "around the world" by having Emergency Combat Capable Crews man A-01 and monitor A-06, the first sortie to be "Strategic Alert." During this period, Emergency Combat Capable Crews consisted solely of brave, male military personnel-a gender trend destined to be changed.

Great... More gender predjuduce ...

They made an all women group... It's the same thing. It's not a victory.
when you choose people based on their sex it's still prejudice ,.. Men or women
IMO

They weren't purposefully making an all-female crew. That is simply how it worked out with the recruits that were the best candidates at the time. And the article is just saying that it's kind of neat that this started with an all-male crew and it is being continued by an all-female crew.

This is no different than an all man group

Ha ha! I know, right? Especially since women who live together tend to end up on the same cycle. They are all going to be PMSing at once!! Wow...
Quoting sherry132:All I could think while reading this is
God help us during PMS. LOL
I think it's wonderful.

Sorry to break it to you, but most of these ladies aren't actually from Wyoming, lol. ;) And they weren't making an all-female crew on purpose - that's just how it worked out. But I do think it's kind of cool. Especially since I know one of the ladies on the team.
