Where do you live? 5 BEST & WORST things about your state.
Here is mine:
Arizona
Top 5 Best
1. It is pretty much always sunny
2. It is very scenic with breathtaking sunsets and picture perfect desert scenes
3. In a handfull of hours you can be either gambling in Vegas, or surfing in San Diego, or snowboarding in Flagstaff...or hiking the Grand Canyon (or if you are me you take out your trusty camera...shoot a bunch of pics and keep your feet planted at the top..tee hee) Plus you have all the California theme parks close enough for a quick weekend get away!
4. The state to me reflects a bit of a leisure feel...there is tons of golfing, hiking, shopping, casinos, lakes to go out on, art festivals and hot air balloon rides....I don't go on those, but they set them up close to my house...that's all I really know about that...
5. No natural disasters! Don't know what my pants would look like if I ever saw a tornado....
Top 5 not so great
1. Yes it is always sunny...so of course the summer heat can be a bit much...between June and September just plan on going from AC to AC. Meaning you leave the AC in your house to go to the AC in your car and then the AC at your work etc. and don't even think about buying a car without it....you will die, oh and metal seat belt buckles...good luck! Haha
2. The state is very spread out so it feels like you are in your car a lot, but the roads are pretty descent, no harsh winters to beat them up.
3. Unfortunately our state is pretty bad about red light running, drunk driving and identity theft.... Some people ruine it for everyone don't they.
4. we really don't have changing seasons....it's like "oh hey, my ass isn't burning like a hot pocket....must be fall??? What is Fall?
5. All the houses look exactly the same....they are all brown stucco masterpieces haha... Remember the name of your subdivision and house number otherwise you will drive around forever. Good news, if you can't find your home all the time, looks like you get to eat dinner with a different family every night...
Now you go!
Wyoming
Best 5 things
1. No state income tax
2. Friendly people almost everywhere you go
3. Lots of open space

3. Jackson Hole (tourist trap, yuck!)
