Do your kids make/decorate Valentine boxes for school? UPDATE with new PICS.
Each year my kids are instructed to make a Valentine's box for their parties at school. They are allowed to decorate it any way they want to. It can be simple, or it can be elaborate. They are just told to use their imaginations.
Do your kids make Valentine's boxes? Share pictures if you have any. =)
Here are some pics from recent years...
Dog house

Train

Bird house

UPDATE:
Happy Valentine's Day everyone!!
Here are some pictures of the "boxes" that we made for their school parties today.
Here is my DS's "laptop" Valentine box. =)

^^^The keyboard lifts open to put the Valentines and candy inside.
Here is DD's "fairy house" Valentine box (?...err..coffee can..lol).

^^^DD is showing how the roof comes off to put the Valentines inside. =)
UPDATE #2:
My 5 year old doesn't go to school yet, and she was feeling left out so I helped her make a Valentine's box today.
She made a Princess Castle.

My oldest DD won "The Best Girl Valentine Box" in her class. She was so proud!!

No but those are pretty cool,my kids classes just have bags they come home with filled with cards & candy, wish they would make something like this...

It is fun to help the kids complete their projects. We weren't sure if they needed to make boxes this year (since they are getting older). The teachers just sent notes home about it last week, so we are getting a very late start on them. LOL. My DS wants to make a box to look like a laptop, and DD wants to make one that looks like a fairy house. We have a lot of work to do tonight. LOL

Wow, I would say those are elaborate, lol. They did a great job!
