Looking through both my brothers FB. One is 13 and one will be 13 in May.
I have 2 step sons 12 and almost 14. They are being raised in another culture and compared to my 13 year old and almost 13 year old brothers I can't believe the difference! It's not all culture, it's parenting.
Sorry, but if these 2 were my kids they would be in so much trouble! SMH.
So you have young family members on your FB? Does it make your head spin reading what they post?

I dont really have many young teens in my life. My sister is 16 and always likes those really stupid chain status things. I mean the really stupid ones so I always tease her about it. She is not like most teens though so I cant really compare her to others same for my 14 year old brother. They are not like kids their age.

My sister is 17 and all of her posts are all nerdy gamer stuff lol so no, nothing on hers.  But I see FB's of my friends kids who are 13/14/15 etc and it scares the hell out of me.  I wasn't even posting those kind of things when I was 25  lol

Yes, I have some nieces and nephews that leave me shakingy head in disgust sometimes. The ghetto talk is ridiculous.

Yes, I have my 16yo brother and some cousins on FB. They swear a lot, and my brother says some really offensive words. He's a good person, but doesn't think before he types. I deleted him once because of it, and he promised not to do it again. He's been better.

My brothers spell like toddlers, lol!
English isn't my stepsons first language and isn't even a language they use every day and their comments have better spelling and grammar!

My sil worries me but she is 22. Posting how much money she has, what she buys, etc...not smart. Talking out of her ass too

Yeah, my 12 year old brother just got dumped (over FB) by his GF (SMH at that there!) and is posting about his drama with that. Cussing up a storm!
And my mom doesn't care.
I called her up the other night because he was on FB adding pics and stuff at 11:30 on a school night! She just giggled...
