Should she be doing this already?

My DD is going to be 7 months on the 22nd, and yesterday she all the sudden started crawling fast and everywhere. Well, before she started that she's been walking along the edge of furniture. She'll pull herself up (very fast, and on everything) and starts walking to where she wants to go. Isn't she too young to be walking along edges??

Neither of my kids did that until around 9 months, but I did know a girl many years ago who had a 9 month old that could walk without help.  Some kids just start early :)

My boys all did this at 7 months and were walking by 9 1/2 months.

No, it's fast but not unheard of fast. some kids are more advanced than others. It sounds like she will be walking soon!

My Emma did that. Yet she is now almost 14 months and still not walking without support.

One of the daycare kids at my DDs' daycare is 6 months and crawls and sits up on her own already.

TJ was walking along furniture at 6 1/2 months so she is good. Just know that very soon you will have her getting into EVERYTHING

My son and DD2 where walking at 9 months. DD1 would have been also but she was born with a hipdisplaysa(sp) but she started walking 3 days after the cast was off.

Yeah, my first was just about seven months when she crawled and my second was about eight months. My first walked at 10 months and my second did not walk till 13 months. Kids do these things at different times.
