It has been almost 3 years since that day you did what you wanted to do. Almost 3 years since i have felt safe, though you have been in jail.
What you did to me and my son is unspeakable. I will never understand why you did it, much less do it in front of a child.
I have tried to hate you. But i cant. Im not sure why. With everything i have been through in my life, and i have been through alot, this is the one thing i cant get over.
I do promise you this,
I WILL get passed this. I WILL learn to hate you! I WILL never forget you, your face, your voice, or what you did and what you took.
I lost myself that day. I WILL find myself again. This i promise you. I WILL be able to walk outside my house and not shake at the thought of seeing you somewhere.
I just may have PTSD for the rest of my life because of you. I may have anxiety attacks and panic attacks for the rest of my life because of you. BUT i will be in control again.
I WILL one day be able to see you and hold my head high, smile at you and walk away and not want to fall apart.
One day i will think of you and feel sorry for you
