So first it's "No late-term abortions" ... Now they're trying to make it "no abortions at all".

If I understand the "personhood" laws correctly then eventually birth control will be outlawed as well.

Next we'll start putting women in prison for their drug addictions causing them to lose babies. And then ,sSoon enough we'll hear about the first woman who's put in jail because she was drinking while pregnant and had a miscarriage. And everyone will be fine with that, because you shouldn't drink and do drugs while you're pregnant.

But how long til we see someone who has a miscarriage and their doctor or someone testifies that she wouldn't drop her Pepsi habit. Or an overweight woman who was "caught" eating doritos while pregnant.

How long til we're put into mandatory gestation centers to protect the precious lives in our wombs?

Does anyone but me see how slippery this slope is?

I do. Crazy fucks don't realize their opinions on others' actions (that have NO effect on them) are going to leave women in a world of hurt and insanity.

Miscarrages happen all the time with out any reason at all, the way this is going, everytime a mother has a miscarrage, the police and doctors will be down her throat asking what she did to cause it.

It's because they're all emotion and no logic.

I know. There's going to have to be an investigation to every miscarriage. And on top of how intrusive, and disrespectful to the grieving parents that is, our police are stretched far enough. Can you imagine how it's going to be if every miscarriage gets turned into a homicide investigation?

What about difficult pregnancies? If someone goes to the hospital for stomach cramps will she have to worry about attempted murder charges?

Exactly. Where I can see where they are coming from, they are so blinded by their emotions that they don't realize how actually horrific things could be.

Can you imagine how much of a ridiculous time-vampire this would be? It would take so much away from actual crimes that NEED solving.
