I am so thankful my mother did not breastfeed

It was not the best thing for me.  I will go ahead and let her think that she couldn't produce milk because she was not engorged with milk the day I was born.  I will go ahead and let her believe that she couldn't breastfeed because the doctor said she couldn't make milk even though she didn't attempt.  The fact is, I wouldn't want her nasty tit in my mouth anyway.  She caused me enough harm as a child without trying to give me her tainted body fluids. It was actually probably best that she held me or came into contact with me as little as possible.

Are any of you happy that your mother didn't breastfeed?

I wish she had breastfed longer than a week tbh. Due to formula (things have improved a lot since then) I suffered reoccuring inner and outer ear infections for the first 5yrs of my life, which as been directly attributed to it (as I said, previous time). I wish she hadn't dried up (she had stress levels through the roof, PND and a few other things) and that I'd had a better start, I also think we would have had a better bond if it had worked out.

I was breastfed until I was 2.5. It's probably why I have an amazing immune system and why I'm practically a genius.

Or I mean, it could just be that I have a really big ego. Who the hell knows?!

I have nothing to attribute my genius to...lol.

My mom breastfed and formula fed at the same time. She even breastfed me while driving! This was 30 years mind you but still! So...glad I got out of it alive.

my mom regrets it she had no help but she tried so hard ...but she got it down by the time my sister came along ...she didnt breastfeed two kids (my sister has a misformed palate so she couldnt even latch a bottle right) and breast feed two kids my younger sister and baby brother...out of all of them im the one that hardly gets sick so go figure but the two youngest have a closer relationship with her

My mom breastfed me for 10 months and I'm glad she did but if my mom was a bad mom id probably feel differently.
