Has anyone introduced solids at 3 months?
If so, what did you use, and how did your little one take it?
Why would you consider it?
I'm not bashing, I just honestly don't know why you would want to....
Okay, so what fruits did you begin with? Did you mash it/puree it or did you give it as a whole food?
Quoting PaxtonsMama2010:
No I waited till 6 and started with fruits and oatmeal.
at the doctor's suggestion, we did try pears at 3 months with 1 child but quickly gave up. that child was having trouble pooping and the doctor did not want to use medication (nor did i) but nothing helped. after the pears did not work we held off on solids until about 6 months.

I started when my kids started grabbing food, about seven or eight months of age for both of them. The first thing was what they chose, after that, I directed them towards meat and eggs, then vegetables and fruits. We hold off on grain for as long as possible.
ETA: No purees. We just offered small chunks of soft or well shredded foods.
