44 year old having a party at Chuck E Cheese?

DD's birthday is 2 days before my moms. But I am having her party on my moms birthday since it's a Saturday.
I want to make my mom a cake and order her one of the Chuck E Cheese birthday crowns too, lol.
Good idea or do you think she will think it's dumb having a joint party with her grand daughter?

Yep, my sister thinks it's a good idea too. They have had a joint party before when I just did it at my grandmoms house, but I want to surprise her but then at the same time I don't want to embarrass her!

honestly I would do it...ds bday is the day before dh and we always end up celebrating both, we have a party for ds with cake and all here and then have a cookie cake for dh too.  I think it would be sweet to share the day :)

My grandfather was in his seventies and had his birthday there. It was sweet. He just wanted a place where his grandkids and great grandkids could have fun. I think what you are doing is a great idea.

 I don't think a joint party is dumb. My grandfathers bday was the day after mine so we had joint parties all the time and we both LOVED it. Now the crown? Depending on your Moms sense of humor. My mom would be cool with it, my grandmother would kick my butt lol.
