by working on your own marriage and strengthening it by any means you can. How the hell is gay marriage becoming legal going to put every hetero's marriage in jeopardy or make it less meaningful. geez people straighten out your priorities.

Because people are prejudiced and don't want others to have benefits. People arne't nice sometimes, or reasonable.
and for the record I am straight and Christian.
If so many marriages end up in divorce, homosexuals having the right to marry will not make a difference in everyone else's marriage.
A month ago I would have said it doesn't, but now that Catholic entities are being forced to pay for abortions in direct conflict with their beliefs, how long until it's illegal for a Catholic Church to not marry gay couples, I can no longer offer my support for gay civil union, it's never going to be enough!
