Is anyone taking the kids with them on their Valentine's dinner tonight?!?! Or did you get a sitter?!
My kids always go with us, but this year DH had the day off so we went out to lunch alone...First time we have ever spent it together in 13 years :)
I hate going out to dinner on valentines day.. Too over crowded, we will be having a nice dinner at home. My hubby can buy me flowers and take me for dinner another night when its not so busy and overpriced. Id rather get showered with gifts for no reason than on a day that someone says you should.
He will get me a gift and flowers anyways, but I always tell him not too. Just wait till the weekend after. :)
We went away this past weekend for valentines day so we are not doing dinner out tonight. We are going out this weekend for our 4th wedding anniversary as well and we have a sitter for that.
We always stay in on Valentines day and I make a big , yummy dinner . We celebrate this day as a family , it's not just something my husband and I celebrate ourselves...of course after 8 pm when all 5 kiddos are in bed we might do our own celebrating ...lol
We never go out do dinner on Vday. I make the kids a heart shaped pizza and we have a treat then they get to watch a movie while DH and I have our own dinner. (Lavender Filet Mignon , Asparagus and Roasted Red Potatoes this year)
