When's the last time you had a cold?

I've had a cold for a week now. It started with my daughter getting bronchitis. We took her to the ER and I caught a cold from someone at the ER. It's turned into a sinus infection. I'm taking antibiotics and it's taking forever to get better. This is the first cold I've had since my daughter was born over three years ago. UGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

In december, I had a cold for two weeks then I started feeling better but I sounded like mickey mouse. I was dizzy and I couldn't walk up our stairs. Dh took me to the hospital. I was running a high fever and I had a bad case of strep. After I got done with the z pack my cold came back hard. I was sick for another week and took some muncinex dm. My cold was gone the next day. I was sick the whole month of december.

Oh my gosh...

I caught a cold in October while running a 5K...got shin splints, trained for a 1/2 marathon on them and then ended up running the 1/2 marathon with a sinus infection and ended up with a bone spur between my right knee cap and my right quadricep... sinus infection went away and came back 2 weeks later...good times.

After Christmas, I started Insanity and ended up with strep throat. Are you freakin' kidding me?? I got over it and went to the allergist and found out that I am allergic to 13 things! Now, my oldest has a cough, my youngest has strep, Dh has an upper respiratory infection and we leave in 2 days for vacation!!! We are going on a 7 day cruise on Saturday and now, they are all sick. Dh and my youngest are on antibiotics and my oldest is already on the mend.

March 2009 is that last time I've had a cold. I do get symptoms but never full blown sick. I'll get a sore throat and it will be gone the next day or the sneezes and then they'll be gone. Due for a doozy next year I seem to go on a 5 year cycle. Feel better soon : )
