One of the featured posts is something about "why the TV shouldn't be a babysitter" and it isn't linking to the right post. Does anyone know where the post is at that it is referring to?
Nope, i clicked on it too, but it took it to something else. Must be a typo or someone not paying attention.
It says, "Tragedy reminds us that TV is not a babysitter". I am thinking this is a more than a case of too much Blue's Clues.

I don't know, but I made a post like that years ago thinking everyone would agree me with and boy did it put some panties in a bunch.

its a horribly written article that makes such a loose connection with TV that its comical.
A little girl wandered out her front door and drowned in a canal.
Has nothing at all to do with TV other than it was probably ON in her home when it happened.
I hate the stir.
It should be more like - LOCK YOUR FRONT DOOR if you leave your kid alone for a period of time.
The claim is the mom went outside to hang laundry the dad went to pee and in that 30 seconds a 2 year old got up - walked out the front door wandered down teh street and fell into a canal and drowned.
Yea.
That's TV's fault.
