Not here. It's usually road signs being stolen, paint balled, mudded, or paper wadded. Or spray painted.

Nope, but I live on a military base, so no they don't steal stuff like that.

They steal them in a lot of cities for the scrap metal money.

I was reading an article in our paper and 24 yr old woman fell in a drainage pipe because the grate had been stolen.  She was stuck there for 24 hours in the cold.  I don't understand how she didn't see it, but it's kind of freaky.

The city doesn't remove the grates without replacing them right away, since it's dangerous.  They said it was stolen.

I don't think we have anything like that here. I have a little metal thing in my yard that the water guy uses but no one would know it was there unless they decided to walk through my yard.

Jeez I would hope the recycling or scrap plant would realize its state property and not pay the person...people were stealing building supplies (cables) a year ago in camden...but all the plants were on lookout.
Thats Dangerous...kids n animals can fall in

Yes. I'm pretty sure it was on the news around the holidays.

Poor lady! Yeah, usually if the town/state takes them off, they put up cones and tie caution tape around them until they're finished working and put them back on.
