After all, it IS Black History Month, and Whitney Houston made history alright....she had a history of a singing career, riddles with drug use, and drug arrests, amongst other things.....My question is, Is the governor going to fly the flag for all the other Black Artists that have fallen?
Ok, so it is black history month so I get that we are honoring black people who are no longer here...but Whitney Houston??? I don't think I buy it...
What do you want though? Do you want him to fly the flag at half staff for the whole month? And if so, then should he fly it at half staff year round? I am sure that someone somewhere did something good daily who is no longer living...How would you feel if we had a "Caucasion hisory month" or a "Puerto Rican history month" ? I am asking seriously, not trying to sound mean...
