Front loading washer lovers! A warning to you!!!
I have been without the use of my washer for over a week now. The reason is the drum would not turn. I had lost my DL, 2 credit cards and my ins card. Turns out they were caought int he washer. BUT they were not what was making my drum not turn.
IT WAS MY SONS SOCK!!!!!!!!!!!
Yep. His sock had slipped into and behind the drum and gummed it up. The tech could not see it until they took my washer completely apart. I am now going out to buy a few of those mesh bags to wash all of our socks and undies in!!!!!!!!!!!
I wish I could have front loaders. The space in our house designated for the laundry area isn't big enough by like 1in on each side for them!
I have an issue with socks falling into the rubber part that holds the door closed. I used to love my front loader but have come to realize that it is not all it is cracked up to be. I miss my old washer where I could lift the lid.
I looked and looked! I went and cancelled the CC, paid for a new DL BEFORE Best Buy came out to fix washer. I even looked in the bags of trash thinking maybe my son had thrown them away while cleaning!!!!!!!!!!
I knew that boy was behind all this! LOL

Wow did you wonder where all your cards were?

This is one of the reasons why I bought a top loader recently instead of a front.
I love mine.
We had one at work and it never worked properly, it was always giving us headaches, then they got a new top of the line one and it really wasn't all that much better, lol.
I had that issue with a top-loader, except it was a cloth wipe and it was keeping it from draining. It's pretty easy for small things to slip off to the side of the drum if you're not extremely careful transferring them to the dryer.

At least it's fixable!
