When did u convert your little ones to a booster? I haven't had one in a booster for so long I honestly can't remember when it's time to switch lol. My 4 yr old meets height and weight requirements for a booster but I don't feel comfortable putting her in a booster at the moment so were staying with the 5 pt harness for now..

Keep your kid in a 5-point for as long as they will fit. While you could move them up now there is no reason to rush it if they still fit in their 5-point.

It is best to keep them in the 5 point until 6 years old.

My 4 year old is harnessed yet. Idk how much longer I'll be able to harness him. The harness weight is 50lbs.

My son is 5 and still in his 5 point. I plan to keep him in it as long as I can.

My dd will be 5 this Sunday. She is still in a 5pt harness. Her seat requires her to be 40+ lbs (which she is) and 44+ inches (which she is not) before switching it from a 5pt harness to a high back booster. Sooooo for now she will stay with the 5 pt harness, until she grows another 2" anyway. :)

for me it will depend on ds maturaty level, I don't feel that at 4 he is mature enough to be without the 5pt harness...lucky enough his 5pt harness goes up to 85lbs then switches to a booster

So does my dd's. I also don't feel as though she's mature enough to be in a booster. She'd be unbuckling herself and all over the vehicle 5 min into the trip lol.

My oldest was almost 7.5 when he switched to one.
