I would like to apologize to you all and let you know - we aren't all like that.
I am a christian and I love Jesus.
I go to church regularly and pray daily.
I believe he is my saviour - I believe in miracles performed in his name.
I love my God - he makes my life complete.
I am sorry those of you who do no feel the same way, or those of you who question etc etc are being called into question - are being looked down upon - are being held in ridicule for following your own heart.
Jesus taught us to listen to our heart and stay true to it.
Jesus taught us to question our society, our religious leaders, our church
Jesus taught us to be true to our selves and our beliefs.
He did not teach us to take up arms against those who do not feel like us, he did not teach us to with hold love from our brothers and sisters who oppose us.
My Jesus was a revolutionary - he came to this earth to bring us all back to God.
He was without a home, without approval , he was tried and found guilty as a criminal.
Jesus did not dress in lace and crinoline and attend mass on Sundays.
He wore rags and sandals and often layered with dust and grime
Jesus laughed, Jesus Loved, Jesus was a friend
and that is all I try to be in my life.
I am sorry - there are Christians out there who represent our similar faiths and give others a bad taste for Christianity.

Duly noted. It sucks that there are some atheists out there who have nasty attitudes. I dunno if I should apologize for them, though, because I don't THINK I act like that.
I love me some Foo !
I know that CM is not a good representation of Christianity. I am not Christian, but a lot of people in my life that I love, adore and cherish are, and they are nothing like what one may see here with one or two terribly rotten, stinking ,apples.
