Do you use you cell (either calling, texting, or browsing the web) when you're out to dinner with your hubby or family? Just curious

 Sometimes...depends on the reason for the dinner and who is with us. Dinner at a diner with DH and the kids...sure. Birthday dinner at a mid-priced restaurant...not so much. If I were out to dinner with the inlaws or something like that, probably not at all.

I check it out if I feel the phone vibrate during dinner, but i dont use it unless I have to. It's a good way to say "hey thanks for coming here with me, but hold on, something more important has my attention" I think. It isnt always rude, but usually.

If I need to xheck on kids or if the babysitter calls. But not just for idle chit chat. Only emergencies.
