He bought NASTY bacon!! ewwwww

 last night for V Day DH wanted to help me make a special dinner, a knock off chicken marsala with bacon..

 so as soon as he got hme form work he ran to the store and picked up some missing ingredients.

 like bacon.

 when he got home and i started unloading stuff i looked at the bacon, and OMG the packaging was all full of air, the box looked like something had been chewing on it, and the bacon was a weird, nasty green brown!!

 EEEEEEEWWWWWWWWWW!!!

 so he also forgot the olive oil and parmasean, so i took it back to the store and grabbed some other stuff.

 when i showed the checker, she litteraly  gagged!!! and said OMG.... she let me exchange it no problems and tossed that one...

 but omg, i kinda wish i had gotten a pic before taking it back.... i have NEVER seen bacon look like that!!! especially not straight from the store!! EW!!!

 but dinner turned out great! we messed up the pasta, tried to make our own noodles but we didn't roll them thin enough so they didn't turn out well. which is sad cause our homemade alfredo sauce was AMAZING!!!

I do most of my shopping at wal-mart and unknowingly come home with icky bacon more then once. Now I make sure to look at it before I get it.
