Does "Christianese" turn you off?

When people use words that are "Christianese" (like "saved" "born again" "fellowship" etc) does it bother you?

What about when people are constantly saying lovely-dovey things about Jesus or have religious posters and such? Or only listen to K-LOVE or other Christian music?

For me, as someone who has faith in Jesus, it is a SERIOUS turn off.

We are so inundated with fakes these days--show me your faith by your actions, not your Jesus bumper sticker!

ETA: None of the above things are bad in and of themselves. However, the attitude--the bragging and condemnation if *you* don't do those things but they do--is what I'm talking about.

Doesn't bother me.  I'm somewhat of what you described.

Luckily I'm not trying to turn you on :)

Yes. And I find it both humorous and annoying when people write or speak as if they are 15th Century mystics. "For God so loves me that he will shine his eternal love on my soul every day I do grace this earth!"

No it doesn't bother me...I say those words myself...you can live like a Christian and still say things like that. So what if I listen to only Christian music? I can listen to any kind of music I want right? Just like you can.

It's true that we can listen to whatever music we like. I should clarify: I am referring to people who very loudly let you KNOW they only listen to Cheistian music, and say or imply that that's all anyone else should listen to.
