FedEx Delivery Notice

I was home....appaently FedEx delivered a package to my house....they did not knock or ring the bell (I would have heard them since I was sitting 15 feet from my front door).

I got up to leave my house and noticed a sticky-note on the window of the front door.  I open the door and find a 'delivery notice' sticker saying thata package was left "at front door".  I look down and there is a HUGE box right there.

WHY did they leave a note saying the package was right there....the package was impossible to miss.  If the note was because no one was home (though they never knocked)  HOW could I possibly come home and NOT see the pacakge?  I am more likely to miss the little sticky-note then the huge box.  If the note was because someone was home...how could you miss the huge box at your feet when you opened the door?

Just an odd experience this morning.

To make sure you know they came and left it if someone steals it.

I guess they left the note to protect their butts in case someone would come by and steal the package.

For some reason Fed Ex never knocks, i have had several packages delivered while i was at home and didn't know they were there until i walked out the front door.

That's my thought. The UPS guy usually ding dong ditches our house.

The Fed Ex guys always knock for me. With the exception of the last guy cause I had the door open and waiting before he even got out of the truck LOL.

Me too....I was laughing to DH about it.  We were both left scratching our heads over it.

...maybe.

But - if I was going to steal a package from someone's porch...I'd take the post-it too...especially since it was 2 feet above it.
