After he goes, he always yells for me or dh to come wipe him. I've tried to show him how to do it & talked to him about being a big boy.
His response is, "But MOOOM! I can't SEE in my own butt!"
Ugh.
My daughter was wiping herself at 3. I don't get why he can't do it.
I guess just being consistant about manualing taking his hand with the baby wipe or TP and showing him how to do it each time. Encourage him to at least try it by himself with you supervising and reward him if he does it (even if he doesnt do it right).
I have the same problem! The poor kid. As soon as he gets home from school he runs to the bathroom & then I hear, "MOOOOOOOOOOM I'm dooooooooooooooooone!" Lol I've bought him his own wipes & tried to bribe him, but nothing works!!

This is probably a stupid question, but does he stand up when you wipe him? I've tried to show my son how to wipe sitting down, but he told me that his dad stands up, so he wants to do it that way.
We got through wipes like crazy! He's at least a 3 wiper. YUCK! Lol

LOL! My son bends over the side of the tub. The things we see on a daily basis!! In my head I imagine him graduating high school & screaming "MOOOOOOM! I'm doooooooooooooone!" from the bathroom in the auditorium. Hopefully both of our boys will start wiping! Hehe
