Do you know how old your great grandmothers and grandmothers were when they had their first child?

My Great-Grandma was 18 and my Grandma was 13.

They didn't even have the labels "teen mom" or "young mother" back then. You were just a mother and expected to take care of your kids. I don't think those labels have done any good for society really.They unfairly label those that are responsible mothers and are used as an excuse for those that aren't.

 My grandmother (mom's side) was 23 when she had her 1st.  Her mother was 21.  Poor woman had 6 kids by the time she was 26 (2 sets of twins, one stillbirth and my grandmother) and then she died from one of those fevers (can't recall which). 

My dad's mom was 19 (and she did not raise him - his dad's mom did).  His mom's mother was also 19.

My grandmothers were 23 and 26 my mother was 29

I have my family tree so i can take a look. What always stood out to me was how their childbearing years were much longer... like 5-12to kids over 20a years... and how often they died.

 Not sure how old my great grandmother was when she had her first child, but my grandmother was 20.

M grandmothers were 19 and 28. I don't know about my great grandmothers.

My mom was 23.

My grandma was mid 20's. She got married when she was 15, but then my grandpa went to fight in WWII.

My grandmother's were old for their time period's. My Mom's mom was 28 and my Dad's mom was 32. My Dad is an only child and she had at least five miscarriages before him

My great grandma was mid to late 20s I believe on my dad side. I have no clue about my moms side.

My paternal grandma was 20 and my maternal grandma was 17 when she had her first.

My mom was 20 and I was 19.

 Idk about my great grandma. My grandma was 16. My mom was 28. I was 24. My oldest sister was 15.
