A different Valentine's Day post. :)

I keep seeing all of these posts about how miserable some of you lady's V-Days were and how your husband didn't get you something and blah blah.

I wanna hear about the GOOD ones!

I had a wonderful day yesterday. I woke up to a happy baby, went grocery shopping, cooked one of my SO's fav meals and had it ready when he got home from work. I had made him a coupon booklet last week, gave him some chocolates and a sweet card and his cousin from out of town came and ate with us and met our son. SO gave me a card and a choice of a man/ped/eyebrow wax or 20 bucks for Starbucks. Of course I'm gonna take the first one because I can have Sb whenever. lol, then he took his cousin back to where he was staying, I put our little man in bed, cleaned the kitchen and relaxed. :) it wasn't "perfect", but it was nice.

So I wanna hear about everyone elses day!! Ready. Set. GO!

The whole day was not great.  My daughter wasn't feeling well, so I was changing dirty diapers every half hour or so.  My husband had to work.  We don't really go all out on Valentine's Day.  We show our love and appreciation for each other every day.  After dinner, we gave the kids the little thing we got them, and then sent them to bed at bed time.  After they were asleep, we laid in bed watching TV.  He wrote a little letter to me and gave me that.  I got him a little bag of chocolates that he loves.

Cleaned house got roses took picts w hubby went to dinner came home attempted to watch a movie but fell asleep. Yup sums up my day & I loved it :)

We don't normally celebrate V-Day because we got married on the 17th and started dating on the 19th. But this year my husband has to work on the 17th so we celebrated last night. 

We made chocolate covered strawberries with the kids and then took them to the grandparents. Then we went out and saw 'The Vow' and went out to eat. Got the kids, put them to bed and cuddled and watched Star Trek TNG :) (watching it on Netflix together because it's one of the only shows we both like lol). 

It was a really good night :)

I had to work. Then got an oil change for my car. Made cheeseburgers and french fries for my son and we eat it my candle light. He loved it! Just because I don't have a man doesn't mean I can't eat with the most important man in my life by candle light! It was a good day. Much better then last year, when my ex husband was "working" on a friends car and forgot what day it was.

I was sick yesterday morning with a sinus infection.  I was feeling better so I took the kids to daycare and went to class.  My SO was supposed to go pick up my flowers and gift while i was in class.  He got stuck at work so we all went last night to get it.  We stopped at Cracker Barrel for supper with my sons.  I knew he was getting my a ring.  After the kids went to bed, he asked me to marry him.  :)
