DH got me a mini rose bush for V day, I asked for flowers he got me the bush LOL. BUT I have no idea how to take care of them and I want them to thrive and live long long long. Once things warm up I am going to plant it in the tressel outside the house.
SO how do I take care of them?

I suck at keeping plants alive! LOL. Hopefully someone here can help you. Here's a bump.

You water it, weed around it, fertilize once a year or so, and cut off the dead heads. Its pretty easy really.

I suck at keeping the mini rose bushes alive.  Call Lowe's or home depot & speak to their master Gardner's.

I have 3. I planted them outside and kinda forgot about them lol. I did hear that roses are prone to aphids and if you put ciggarettes and water in a spray bottle it will kill the bugs

I'm not sure about when thare are in a  pot, but once you plant them outside, just leave them be. Haha My mom had tons of rose bushes when I was growing up. My brother even ran one over with the lawn mower once. Damn thing STILL grew back. She never took extra special care of them. Just let them be. Sometimes, maybe like once a year or so, she'd spray them with miracle grow. But other than that, nothing special.
