Built-in carseats???

OK so I was looking at this van im interested in buying and one thing I noticed is that it has built in child seats... My question is does anyone own a vehicle with this feature and if so do/would you use the seats? To me they don't look as safe as a child seat you'd strap in yourself but who knows I've never used one lol.. I know this my second carseat post today lol..

We had a Chevy Venture that had them and we did use them but it was DH's work vehicle so it wasn't very often.  Plus my girls are 5 and 3 so a bit older, I wouldn't have used them if the girls were younger or it was the car we used all the time.

I have one in my van it is under my beautiful car seat. I will not use it ever. Not enough security.

With it being built in I guess you dont have to worry about it coming loose from the vehicle. I would google it and see if you can find reviews

I wouldn't. There is no side impact protection.

See this is what I thought. There's just not enough protection.
