I want to exclusively bf this baby, I didn't with my son, he was born at 35 weeks, they stuck a sugar water paci in his mouth after the oxygen came off and he never latched properly, I pumped with him but I got mastitis and i decided to stop...I want to be able to bf this baby as does my dh. I hated pumping, it hurt and its such a production to it all...I'm 32 weeks right now, just wondering if anyone exclusively bf without pumping

You don't have to pump at all.

I would buy a hand pump (cheapest) for emergencies for if you get engorgored due to being away from the baby for whatever reason. In the beginnig nurse and pumping will hurt and you could get mastitis either way. Just push pass it. Challenges shouldn't stop you from offering breastmilk.

you don't need one. Only reason it comes in handy is if you want someone to watch your child or you have to get back to work.

I didn't use mine. It didn't work for me #1. I tried to use it when I would wake up miserable and engorged (DD slept through the night from the start so I would wake up boobs sore and hard as rocks)
But, didn't work for me. My boobs don't respond to a pump. I nursed DD for 2 years, 2 months, no pumping! No bottles at all. Just straight from the tap, lol.
