EDIT---Thank you all so much for your input! I'm gonna try a few and see what he likes and I'll stay away from soy. Thanks again, ladies!!!---
Dairy-free babies? I can't bf anymore and my son is on Nutramigen right now and is doing great on it. He's gonna be 1 in less than 3 weeks and I was wondering which milk the dairy-free mamas give their babies after formula(if formula fed). I'm contemplating just Silk Soymilk, but I'd like some other options besides Coconut milk or almond milk. If you have no advice, could you bump, please? Thanks so much!!

None of the above because they lack protein. DS drinks Vanilla Chai Tea made by Bolthouse farms. It contains no dairy products and in 8oz contains 170 calories, 3.5 grams of fat and 9 grams of protein.

My son was on soy formula but soy milk made him have runny poo. I did whole lactose free milk...

Let him try it all and see what he likes best! If you are concerned that what he chooses isn't healthy enough or doesn't have enough protein, check with the pediatrician. DS drinks regular whole milk, but when he's sick I either give him soy or almond milk.

I want to know also. My dd is on Alimentum and is almost one. Soy formula makes her constipated so I am scared to switch her to soy milk.

He's not lactose intolerant, he's got a protein allergy. I wish I could give him regular lactose free milk. :(

I'd avoid soy. What exactly can he not tolerate?
