There seems to be war amongst birthing moms- "I had a c-section and I am glad baby is safe." versus "I had no drugs and had a glorious orgasmic birth".... Know what I say? Good for both of you! Yay! You made an informed decision based on your needs and that of your baby and you are empowered! I want to create a safe place for Moms-to-be to explore their options, gain knowledge and have safe, healthy and INFORMED births! YOU can help turn the tide on this very high maternal death rate in the United States, by being informed of the risks and benefits of each option you have in birthing and by helping other women learn the same!

September is ‘NATIONAL RICE MONTH'
"Stabilized Rice Bran"
Rice bran is a component of brown rice. Rice bran has long been considered a waste product of rice production because it spoils so quickly, but the stabilized form of rice bran does not. The bran of the rice is where 85% of the rice kernel's nutritional power is stored. This bran is extremely nutrient dense. Enzymes in the bran cause the oil in the bran to go rancid very quickly. Patty McPeak invented a method for stabilizing the healthy oils in rice bran, allowing the health benefits of its nutrients to be accessed. The rice bran can be removed and stored for a much longer period without damaging the super nutrition contained in the bran portion of the rice kernel.
Rice bran has no cholesterol or trans fat. Because it is gluten free, it is also an excellent grain for those who are allergic to gluten. Due to its carbohydrate content, it is a great energy source. Rice bran is hypoallergenic, and is gentle enough for even infants and is a powerhouse of health for adults.
This is why the NanaCea and Patty McPeak products are so great! 24/7 and Manna are largely stabilized rice bran, and our other products contain it as well, meaning you get a powerhouse of nutrition with each use!
