Today we went to the Thrift Store because the kids wanted a new toy. They picked out their toys and we went to checkout. The lady that rung us up was extremly nice. =) My 3 y/o DS picked this huge toy that was 15 dollars. The cashier said, "Oh no, no, no! That is too much!" and charged me 9.99. Then she had a huge reusable bag of action figures that she just gave to the boys, just because. She asked how much the Care Bear my DD wanted was, but just decided it should be $2. (It was $5). She told me how my children were some of the most well behaved children she had seen. I don't think they were doing wonderful however, lol. But it made me feel so great for her to say that. As we were leaving, I realized one of the kids had a DVD in their hand, so I asked her if she had rung it up. She said it was free because the bag of action figures was for the boys so it was only faair. I seriously wanted to hug her and I told her what a wonderful woman she was and how it made my day!
I know it's silly, but it made me happy. She was just such a sweet woman. Do you ever have those days when you go out and people just seem to be so inconsiderate and rude? It makes me sad that people are like that. For example, my 10 y/o DS always opens the doors for people. Always. A lot of the time people don't even say thank you. I know they don't have to, but is it really that difficult? Ok, I am way too long winded, lol. It's just been a good day so far. =)
Here's some pictures of what they got....

Thank you! I know it's something simple, but it made me happy! I think she was a very good person, and so sweet to the kids. =)
