So we are moving into a new house in the next month or two, and I really like the house except.... The pink countertops! lol They are horrid! I have seen something where it is like basically wallpaper for counter tops, but I can not figure out what it is called. And I dont know if it is permanent? We are going to live in base housing, so I would like to do something that isnt permanent.

Any idea on how to cover it without it being permanent?

I'm don't know what product you are talking about, but i do feel your pain.

I lived in a house with pink countertops, it even had a PINK stove lol!

Good luck!

I am hoping someone will be able to help! Its that dark dusky rose color. blech, but the backyard is great, and we would have BRAND NEW carpet for the first time, so the good outweighs the bad!

I did, and what is coming up is not what I am thinking of! Even though I love the internet, I hate all the extra info flying at me!

If you go with contact paper you had better make sure you can get it all off by your dh's final out date b/c they WILL charge you for it. (speaking from experience here)  Have you looked into laminate?

No, I just thought the contact paper wasnt permanent? I dont want to spend a lot of money on it, we will only be living there two years, I guess if anything I will just live with it. So you used the contact paper? It was hard to get off?
