Ok, I'm pulling out of the mall today and something catches my eye. Usually someone is out there holding a sign for one of the local jewelry stores "we buy gold" or whatever... Well this guy is crouched down against a utility box, way back from the street, with the sign in front of his face, smoking a cigarette. So, I called the store and let them know.... I cannot stand to see someone getting PAID to do something so easy and mindless... And not even do their fucking job... It drives me bonkers!!!

Just so everyone knows... I have many years of experience managing people. I am a fair and honest employer but I can not/ will not tolerate laziness. I was not raised that way.

SOOOOO.... What do you think? Funny? Bitchy? Crossed the line?

Everyone I told about it laughed, but they kind of expect these kinds of things from me.

No I probably would not have done that since I have no idea what the situation might be. Perhaps it was a periodic break or some other time in which he might fairly be "off the clock" as it were.

In Ohio you are required to have breaks, the manager at the store thanked me.
