I have to go in tomorrow afternoon for a girly-parts procedure due to recurrent miscarriages. It is a time sensitive procedure and had to be within6 days of my period (this past Friday). So tomorrow is pretty much the only time then I'm told that I have to have a pregnancy test done that morning before I come in. I had asked my sister to watch my boys while I was gone so DH could come with me (she said no, thanks a lot little sis) so now DH will be home with the boys instead of being able to come with me. I'm just nervous about it and a little scared and he comes home (he works evenings) annoyed and mad as can be that I have to go in earlier for the pg test and he'll have to miss his class (I'm a SAHM and he's in class all morning, so it's not usually an issue).

He's acting like he's mad at me or annoyed with me, like I"m spending the morning shopping with g/fs or something instead of going in to my high-risk dr to figure out wth is going on. I just wanted some support and for him to take charge instead of being annoyed with me.

1 mom liked this

That could be his way of handling the fear of what is going on.  :(  It's still not very nice.

i guess it depends on how many credit he has left to graduate or maybe he is deflecting and is more mad at your sister.  Ummm, what about your parents or his parents or another babysitter?

I bet he is just as nervous and scared as you, just handling it badly.. I'm sorry :( sometimes we want guys to be the strong ones, and they just can't.

I would be more annoyed with my sister if I were you. I hope that you don't plan on being there for her if she ever needs you.

As far as hubby goes, I agree with Velvetkitty.... probably his way of dealing...

just bc he is in school doesn't mean that you are never allowed to have a dr appointment!  shit happens, partners need to work with each other.  so he missed a class, study at home and get over it!
