I feel your pain...  I am also the mom of a teen.. She will be 20 in April.

I read a great book called "Yes, Your Teen is Crazy" by Michael J. Bradley.   It gives you great advice on how to deal with teens, why they act the way they do, and it comes down to brain chemistry and composistion.   But  does it in a way that makes you understand, and in laymman's terms... I can not recommend this enough

It can be difficult, with the independence they desire, but ask questions! A lot of them! LOL!

I"m the Mom of 2 teens also.  What are you having issues with?  My teens are great.  Yes, there are days that are more challenging but for the most part I love having teens.

I also have 2 teens and while they are great, they both have their moments!

My teens are great. Both boys are affectionate but don't talk much though I know one is very troubled.
