OMG someone just tell me it's fine..... before I explode!
Just got a new car lastnight, only got Liability insurance on it. DF hit a deer on the way to work.
Like really? are you fucking kidding me? I'm so pissed I don't know if I'm gonna cry or throw up or just go run into the woods naked with a shot gun.
I'm not even mad at him, I'm mad at the deer.... at every higher power that anyone believes in...... at the entire situation. I feel bad for DF, it's almost the same feeling as if one of my kids got hurt. I feel horrible for him and so pissed off at everything. Like we can't have just ONE nice thing.
I needed an outlet so I went to facebook. Then I was like "oh cafemom - better than blowing up facebook"
I'm so so so thankful my man is OK though. It is my worst fear that he will get hurt or killed driving to work or at work. He said the car is messed up but OK to drive so he kept going to work. I'll have to wait til he gets home to see the damage.
It's just so expensive. It's already $160/month for minimum coverage on 2 cars

Good grief. Maybe you need to check around for prices on different insurances. The reason I say I have Nationwide but I only pay 80$ a month for FULL coverage. Last year when I hit a deer my insurance covered it plus paid for my rental car.

I use state farm. It's more expensive for us because I'm 20 and he is 22. It should go down a bit after my birthday though. We already have every discount they have that we qualify for. I was thinking about checking out nationwide but we have discounts through state farm for being with them for so long

And I know I had to have full coverage :(
I had at least one accident once every three months ....i worked three jobs to pay my car note...insurance....pay a 500 deductible every time I had a accident :(
