If you were trying, how long did it take you?

To get pregnant, that is.

Were you just not on bc? Did you track your ovulation? Temp? How hard did you try?

Dh and I went off bc for almost exactly 1 year when we conceived dd. I didn't track ovulation or anything.

This time I'm actually trying but its been 3 months and I've still got nothin'! Just curious what the average is. :)

The figures that are generally quoted for "averages" are around 6 months (give or take a month). So it's still early days! Good luck!

 It took seconds with my son, ten years with my daughter and we weren't trying with my youngest son.  I stopped using birth control about four months before our wedding, I wanted a baby right away and I got one :)

We tried for a year with a couPle of months on clomid and nothing. We gave up December 2004 and on April 1, 2005 we found out we were pregnant with DD. On Oct. 2010 we found out we were pregnant with DS. We didnt used BC in the years between DD & DS. He was a surprise.

Took us 9 months to have a successful pregnancy. We had 3 miscarriages before that :(

But the first pregnancy, I got pregnant after a month.

DH and I are crazily fertile... I went off birth control and got pregnant within the first three weeks (with both DS and DD).

Took us 8 months of being off bc. We were actually practicing nfp! But, now I'm pregnant. Dh is getting snipped before i give birth!

it took us a year. we just stopped preventing and it worked a yr later :) good luck to ya!!

 1 month with my first and 6 months with my second.  I didn't do anything special with my first, just decided to stop using protection.  With my second, monitoring my cervical mucus was key.
