My two 8th graders get out of school in about 25 minutes.  The school is around the corner and I don't usually pick them up .  anyway for the past cpl of months my dd has been being walked home by a boy.  no big deal  but for the past cpl of days she's been being walked home by not 1 not 2 but 5 boys.  Its kinda nice out today and i'm thinking of surprising her!!!!

Is she uncomfortable walking with them?  I don't see the problem, my 9th grader regularily has been walking home with a group of boys, actually I think it's really sweet of them because it's out of their way and they want to make sure she gets home safe.

She's starting to get annoyed  its not about  her getting home safe its about which one is going to win her over and they are starting to act like she's a prize to be won.  At first it was funny but its gone beyond that now

I do pick them up from time to time to make sure my son is walking out of the building and not cutting or something.  So I do surprise pick ups  lol
