Ok I have never been involved in circumcision posts ever. But I can't help but thinking....WHY does everybody sit around and talk about other peoples children's penises? I think that is really creepy and odd. I couldn't care less what is in any child's pants. People need to make that decision themselves and yes they need to be educated so it is up to them to research and ask questions. Answering questions that people ask is fine but the level that the fighting and nastiness gets to I think is appalling. Do not brag about your son being intact and do not make fun of what an uncircumcised penis looks like. I have even seen people making known their circumcision decisions in their signatures!! I think if our sons ever knew that we were sitting here talking with other women about their penis they would be pretty angry/embarrassed. I know this won't stop the drama around it but does anybody else think that the whole thing is inappropriate??

My only beef is when people try to "convince me" That my son will hate me later because i didn't give him the choice. I'm fairly certain my brother never looked my mom in the eye and cursed her for getting him snipped... I dont care what your pref is... Keep it to yourself. Stop being "That mom" who tries to tell others what they have decided for THEIR own child... is wrong..

I don't discuss my Kids' Penises on CM. I don't care what others do with their Kids' Penises. That's my view.
