Dd has 8 cavities. We had changed dental insuracnes from a PPO to a HMO because the the HMO covers everything non cosmetic 100% ...well not anasthesia.
The downside is we have to get referrals to everything. So somehow paperwork got lost and dd's needed work was not approved so everything had to be resent. This was months ago!
Now I called today and they just approved it today and are sending me the paperwork as well as the pediatric dentist the paperwork needed as well. WOOT! My baby will get it taken care of. I am very crazy about my kids dental health due to the lack of that in my life by my parents.
I am so stoked! The ponly problem is that she is not going to the place I was hoping for.

Good luck! I don't think any dental insurance covers anesthesia. It's around $40, I think (or at least at our ped dentist). Does she have issues with her teeth? That's a lot of cavities. I hope she does well with the filings.
It makes such a huge difference in their health and life and self-esteem.
So yay! Go Ms. DEAN! *dorky white girl dance*
Well, my kids love the dentist but they have never had cavities until dd got the 8. They associate the dentist with happy things.
She will not be happy when they have to do the work I am sure =(
My ds had oral surgery for an extra tooth he had and he still begs to go to the dentist, lol!

Well atleast she will be getting her cavities filled. Is she excited?

I do believe she has weak teeth like my side.
My boys have not gotten any cavities. She is 4 yrs old and I felt so horrible when we found out about the cavities.
