Okay I think my dh and I finally agreed that the women who sold us our 2nd dog lied to us about everything and I want your opinion. Okay 3 years ago about a month after we got married we bought a chiwhawawa and then 8 months later we decided we wanted a second dog. So I looked in the local newpaper and saw a lady was selling pappillion puppies well we contacted her and she said they would cost so much well two days before we were supposed to go and pay for the puppy and pick her up our car broke down and we needed the extra money we had to fix the car so I called the lady and told her that I was sorry that we couldn't afford to buy puppy because our car unexpectantly broke down. Well three days later she called us back and she said that she had 19 puppies she had to get rid of and would give us the puppy for free but wanted atleast something since the puppy is registered and had all her shots so I asked dh and he said jokingly that we would give her $25 dollars. And she agreed which surprised us since it was like 10% of what the original cost was. Anyways when I picked up the puppy and we paid for her and sure enough she had paperwork showing she had all her shots and registered as a purebreed. And had other puppies there too of the same breed. Well now two years later my dh and I realized we must of gotten screwed because she looks like she is only like half pappillion and half something else. But I have her registered as a purebreed. So we don't know. So I want to know your opinion. I would add pics of our dog but apperently I am having trouble uploading pics.

unfortunately if she is APR registered, they require no paperwork, just saying they are purebred is enough. They register anything and everything purebred or not. My dog is a Boxer/Akita mix, but looks like a Boxer I could register her with them as a purebred Boxer and get away with it.
Why does it matter? What were you hoping to breed and make money?
I don't think you got screwed since you only paid 25.00 however it is very easy to get those paper or even forge some.
