Just asked if she was my aunt. I told her she is my grandma and she put her hand over her mouth, shocked and walked away. Should I be worried and talk to her doctor? She is 75 and has been acting different sometimes. On and off. Not long ago she called and told me someone came into her apartment and stole her favorite coffee mug. She found it later and said she didn't understand why someone would come in there just to move things around on her. If I tell her to talk to her doctor about it, she wouldn't get it.

Does she live alone? I'd talk to someone immediately.

Yes, she does. It's an apartment for seniors or anyone with disabilities but it's not assisted living.

Sounds like some form of dementia. Sorry, that's tough. My grandma has it too.
