Awwww poor baby!!! Bump for anyone who has kids that run in the house!
My 4 year old, was running through the house yesterday. She tried to jump on the couch, but she missed, causing her to dive head first into our storm door. The glass didn't break, and neither did her head (thank God!). But she did have to get 5 stitches :(

Poor baby. After their calm and taken care of it's almost difficult to not say "See, this is why we don't run in the house."
Lol! I did tell her that! Well, with her its jumping on the furniture. I tell her numerous times a day to not jump on the furniture because I don't want her to get hurt. I said "are you going to jump on the furniture anymore?" "NO!". Lmbo!! Now I feel mean!

That's a "natural consequence" according to my parenting book.
:( poor LO!!! She dosnt seem to be too upset about it!! lol
I'm guilty of saying "I told you so" too. I did it just yesterday, in fact, to both of my girls. DD1 has a bad habit of sticking her fingers in the door jam (like the side where the hinges are) when she's standing in a doorway talking. DD2 has a bad habit of slamming doors. I've been telling both of them to stop. Well, yesterday, DD2 slammed a door while DD1's fingers were in it. DD1 has a nasty bruise and that's it, but I told them both, "I've been telling you!"
