Do you still spend money on things other than "necessities"...? I mean, do you still get yourself things that you WANT every now and then? Do you still buy your kids toys/clothes/etc even if they don't really NEED them? It seems that  a lot of women on this site think that if you are on any kind of PA you shouldn't be able to spend money unless it's on bills or other MUST-HAVE things. I think it's bs. I work, I pay my bills FIRST and make sure that we have everything we NEED and then if I have money left over, I do what I want with it!

I make sure all bills are paid but yes I buy what I want.

I only use Olay/Dove products, I buy my son toys, I go out to eat sometimes. That kind of stuff.

Heck I just bought my son a $400 Power Wheel.

We never did, we never had any money, hence why we were on PA...I never got my hair done or nails done...I bought myself clothes when only necessary...all I have to say is my life is alot better now than it was when we were on PA

I have medicaid for my kids, because so's job doesn't offer insurance, and I only work part time, from home. So the money he earns pays bills, and neccessities, my money goes for gas in the van, and clothing for the kids. I really don't want anything, so my extra goes to the kids.

I have never been on PA, but, I think it must be nice for a family on it to be able to budget wisely and then able to afford "extras" after some of their financial burden has been eliminated with some form of PA.

Edited* I actually think it's fine lol this was sincere although it might have come across wrong.

I am on food stamps and we get 300 a month for a family of five. we still buy our own food. nowdays 300 dont go far. we used our taxes to buy stock groceries, clothing for the childrne (for next year) and household items (toothpaste, cleaning supplies and such) the kiddos dont get alot of "extras" they get pictures from school and we try to get them in teeball but other than they dont get a lot of extras

Lol. Now THAT'S profound!
And snottily the same exact thing I was thinking. Lmao.
Well, after your edit...I am still being snotty. Oh well. I spent a lot of my life not getting any extras, not being on PA....oh well.
